NEW arrivals!

worldbuilding: Flora

Several flora have been added to the World Expanded: Gemtrap Cactus, Wind Catcher, Beads of the Shore, Bamboo Pit-cher, Dragon's Spine, Heartleaf Moss, Starberry, Heartfruit, and Coral Mycelium! These include May's Flora of Faia winners as well as some extras. Each flora entry comes with a detailed reference sheet, description, and growth / cultural information! 

Stay tuned for more Flora of Faia events in the future (as well as community worldbuilding events in general) <3

Updated world expanded

In addition to Flora, several updates have been made to the World Expanded! 

• A glossary of has been added.
• Major Organizations have been uploaded, and their information will be filled out by next month! Get ready for some Guild lore!
• The official map of Faia has been updated with more notable locations... and something special in Arkala.
• Notable Locations have been uploaded, and their information will be filled out soon. You can now attach these locations to gallery uploads!
• Key Buildings have been uploaded, and their information will be filled out soon. You can now attach these locations to gallery uploads!

Kelp coin prompts expansion

New Kelp Coin prompts have been added to the roster- 5 for each tier! You may notice that this week's Kelp Coin prompts are all new... because they are! In total, we now have 30 Kelp Coin prompts in each tier. The new prompts are listed below:

• TIER 1: [1.26] Emojis, [1.27] Product Advertisement, [1.28] Phone Wallpaper, [1.29] Chess Set, [1.30] Balloon Animal

Updated guides

Some big updates have been made to our guides! First, the Beginner's Guide has been heavily expanded and now includes much more information on our ARPG's activities, shops, basic activities, and more. Additionally, the Prompt Value Guide now includes detailed breakdowns for scenes and what does/doesn't qualify for planes and background aspects. I hope this helps!!

Updates

1) Writing bonus for prompts is now +500 words = +100 wisps, to match the ratio of artwork!

2) The Tortuvina Swan Wings trait has been renamed to Feathered Wings.

3) A new rule has been added to the Code of Conduct: "YOU MAY NOT... Harass others for their items or characters. This includes making offers when those items/characters aren't explicitly put UFO." (in summary, don't DM others to offer on stuff they didn't put UFO!)

4) A full site aesthetic overhaul is planned for November! I would like to move the ARPG's main aesthetic away from the current 'shiny green & blue', as it doesn't represent Faia's lore in any way. The new aesthetic I have planned will mostly focus on the colors purple and yellow, representing Light and Wither! The overhaul will include new default site themes, hopefully new artwork for all items and pets in a new style (I will be getting an iPad soon... no more touchpad art...), as well as new trait rarity colors. Updated artwork will roll out gradually after the initial overhaul in November!
