The arrival of Bay Season brings with it a tradition of profound cultural significance: The Rite of the Reef. Generations ago, when Faia was smothered by wither, the Lightkeepers brought warmth and life back to the Realm, one island at a time. The Rite honors these efforts, celebrating light and uniting Faians together in shared purpose.

The Rite of the Reef occurs annually in Lylluna Reef, an island that has long since been considered the heart of Faia. Each night of the Rite, Faians gather on Lylluna's outer beaches and release their lanterns to the ocean. In this unified act, Faians from around the Realm create a tangible connection to their shared purpose, the floating lanterns not only symbolizing their achievements thus far, but each Faian's continued commitment to the Lightkeeper cause.

Collect [RR] Figurines

There are 13 collectibles in the Bay Festival Figurines collection, obtained at random from Bloom Festival Figurine Boxes. Boxes can be purchased from the Event Shop, Ko-Fi Shop, and also drop from Event Prompts!

 

NOTE: Once you've completed the collection, you don't need to keep your Figurines! They can be resold from your inventory for 50 wisps.

Torrent runestone

Completing the Bay Festival Figurines collection will award you with the Torrent Runestone! This Runestone, combined with the 3 other Seasonal Event Runestones, will grant access to the Serpent's Glade and bonus ARPG content.

This event is a community exchange! You will design your own lantern for the Rite, and by the end of the event, that lantern (and a secret message) will drift into the hands of another Faian!
