Basics

What is artfight?

Artfight is an annual art trading game hosted on https://www.artfight.net ! More information can be found on their site (about page). In summary, Artfight occurs annually during the month of July, and players are split into two themed teams. Players can "attack" the other team (or even their own team) by making art of their original characters, subsequently earning points for their own team. At the end of the event, the team with the most points wins.

 

Faia's artfight event?

Faia is hosting a Milestone Event adjacent to the official Artfight! During this event, there are a series of prizes, and the community must reach progressive point milestones to unlock them for a free raffle at the end. Points for Faia's event are earned by attacking Faian characters on the official Artfight, then submitting to the Attacks prompt (also earns you wisps- more information below).

The community's point total, unlocked milestones, and points log are tracked in this document (also linked at the top of this post). The document is updated every time the prompt mods process your submissions!

How to participate

 

Step 1. Attack faians on artfight

Create attacks (visual art or animation) of Faian characters on the official Artfight! These can be attacks, friendly fire, revenge... anything that is officially uploaded onto Artfight qualifies. Your team does not matter, as we're basically all one big Faia-team in this Milestone event! To find characters to attack, visit the Discord server's ⟡-artfight-links channel.

Step 2. Submit for wisps & points

Each individual attack on a Faian character can be submitted to this prompt for both wisps and event points! Additional rules are in the prompt description. You will earn the same amount of wisps as you would normally if the piece were submitted as general art, with the exception of pet bonuses being inapplicable. Please include a wisp breakdown in your comments, fill out the given form, and attach your wisps manually!

The number of wisps you earn in each attack also directly translates to the number of points contributed to the event's point meter! Your attack will be logged on the Event Point Meter document, and your points will be added to the total, contributing towards new prizes for everyone...

 

Step 3. enter the raffle

At the end of the event, a google form will be posted, allowing anyone who participated to enter a free raffle for all prizes unlocked by the community! On the form, you'll be able to rank each prize by preference. The order of rolled winners' picks will be based on contribution to the event's point meter: the more points you score, the higher the possibility of winning your first choice prize!

The top few 5 point scorers also earn bonus prizes. More info below!

Prizes

Anyone who participates (makes at least one attack on a Faian character) is eligible to enter in the free raffle at the end of the event, and all attacks on Faian characters are eligible for standard wisp rewards. Additionally, there are guaranteed bonus prizes for the top point scorers (listed below)!

The top 5 point scorers will receive the following prizes:

1ST: 6 KC, Legendary Trait Spell x1
2ND: 5 KC, Legendary Trait Spell x1
3RD: 4 KC, Legendary Trait Spell x1
4TH: 3 KC, Legendary Trait Spell x1
5TH: 2 KC, Legendary Trait Spell x1

 

raffle prizes

The following prizes (40 total) can be unlocked by the community by reaching point milestones. The raffle will be completely free-to-enter for anyone who contributed points to the Milestone Event, with everyone getting one equal entry.

NOTES

* Cash-exclusive
** These two characters are the spectralswan-made Candle Noodles featured at the top of this post. Instead of being added to the raffle prize pool like the rest of the prizes, they will be posted by spectralswan on ToyHouse as fav-to-enter raffles, open for anyone to enter!
