The Golden Acre is Faia’s essential farmer’s guild, dedicated to cultivating the crops that sustain the entire Realm. Though their members are spread across many islands, they are mostly concentrated in the farming settlements of Honeywood and Oreta. The guild is renowned for its grounded spirit, work ethic,  and benevolence, often providing food to Faians in need.

ORGANIZATION TYPE: Guild
PURPOSE: To cultivate crops and ensure food security.
SYMBOL: A sheaf of wheat.

PRIMARY LOCATION: The Golden Acre operates within all agriculture zones in Lightkeeper settlements, with a central hub located in Honeywood.
LEADERSHIP AND HIERARCHY: The Acre is led by a large council of farmers, each from a different island and with expertise on their island's farming conditions.
MEMBERSHIP: Membership is open to all farmers. Members benefit from shared knowledge, easier sales, and mutual aid.

STANDING: The Golden Acre is well loved for its generosity. Often, when produce is about to rot but remains unsold, the Golden Acre’s guild hubs are known to cook them into soups and hand them out to Faians in need.
FUNDING: The Golden Acre is funded through the sale of members’ produce, membership fees, and occasional grants by the Lightkeeper Council when there's the risk of food shortage.

KEY ACTIVITIES:

• Cultivating a wide variety of crops and raising livestock.
• Sharing knowledge about planting, harvesting, and land management.
• Managing granaries and food storage for settlements.
• Providing produce to markets and other guilds.
• Researching new strains of crops.
• Providing food to newly established settlements.

NOTABLE ACHIEVEMENTS:

• Established and maintained sustainable food production across several Faian islands.
• Established seed vaults on multiple different islands.
• Created the system of Community Harvests, where guild members from different islands travel to help each other during peak harvest or planting times.

HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: While the Adventurer’s Guild explores and opens new islands, the Golden Acre is essential to making those settlements viable. Their consistent food production and charity towards developing settlements is what has allowed settlers to establish thriving villages from scratch, not needing to worry about starvation.
