Chimera

Sky Island

Chimera

With the ground composed almost completely of reddish clay, an enormous baobab forest not only endures, but manages to flourish at the heart of Chimera. The canopies of these trees are so vast and interwoven that they connect, forming a leafy roof over the island’s interior. Beneath the canopies of the baobab forest, the atmosphere is perpetually shadowed and humid, albeit protected from the sharp, buffeting winds of the open sky.

ADVENTURER'S GUILD DISCOVERY NOTES

"The humidity under the canopy is stifling but provides a perfect environment for the unique fruits that grow here. We've noted that the edges of the island suffer from high-speed erosion due to the fierce winds outside the forest."
