Chimera

Sky Island

Chimera

With the ground composed almost completely of reddish clay, an enormous baobab forest not only endures, but manages to flourish at the heart of Chimera. The canopies of these trees are so vast and interwoven that they connect, forming a leafy roof over the island’s interior. Beneath the canopies of the baobab forest, the atmosphere is perpetually shadowed and humid, albeit protected from the sharp, buffeting winds of the open sky.
