The Mage’s Academy was built on the island of Valona for a reason. With a sprawling forest filled with magically potent flora, Valona has many of the resources vital to a student’s academic journey towards Magedom. In fact, it is said that before the arrival of the Lightkeepers, Valona was inhabited by a species that specialized in witchcraft and hexing. The island itself consists of two floating segments, connected by a single, guarded wooden bridge; the forest and village on one end, the Mage’s Academy on the other.
