Slitshore

Ocean Island

Slitshore

Slitshore sprawls out into a seemingly endless desert, its surface a rippling expanse of sand dunes and wind-eroded cliffs. Although the island seems quite uninteresting at first glance, it hosts an incredible wealth of fossils, unmatched in both quantity and quality. Exposed rock formations reveal the perfectly preserved remains of ancient creatures and civilizations, offering invaluable insight into pre-Lightkeeper life. While the island’s scientific value attracts many scholars and archaeologists to the settlement of Ballater, the harsh environment deters most Faians from staying long. To this day, the only permanent inhabitants of Slitshore are the two mysterious desert-dwelling tribes, their deep understanding of the land allowing them to endure where others cannot.
