The lantern

Draw or write about a Faian participating in the lantern tradition.

As the skies darken and twilight descends, Faians from across the Realm gather on the island’s outer beaches with their lanterns. Each lantern, lovingly crafted and prepared, represents a piece of the individual’s spirit. When the time feels right, each Faian releases their lantern to the current, watching as they collectively transform the water’s edge into a breathtaking display of brilliance.
